The fundamental problem with bond guys is they are programmed to focus on what could go wrong.  Equity guys are programmed to ignore everything that could go wrong.  Strategic asset allocators (particularly those who use index funds) are the only ones who can set aside personal bias and emotion because they know they don’t know.  That is the key to successful investing.
